Mr. Duer is amazing and he trains his staff to be amazing! My son has learned so much, and not just in martial arts but all aspects of his life. Mr. Duer is personally involved in all the classes and all the students. He knows their strengths and weaknesses and spends a significant amount of time ensuring that the kids get one on one attention. My family and I have trained in various places and I am most impressed with Duers because standards are high for the teachers as well as the students. When the kids get on the mat, they know they are going to learn and have fun. Plus, Mr. Duers truly cares about how and what the kids are doing outside the dojo. He takes the time to get to know them and that means to world to them.

We did a lot of research and visiting before making our decision about where to send our son for martial arts training. You could say we kissed some frogs before finding Duer's ATA and for more than 5 years, we haven't looked back. We have high expectations for anyone spending time and guiding our kids and we consider ourselves fortunate to have found this school. It has a true family atmosphere and the instruction is consistent and top notch. When we went to tournaments and saw how the Duer's kids performed exceptionally well, it was obvious to us that the school doesn't exist to collect a quick buck, but to invest in the kids at whatever level there are- encouraging them to be their best. These kids were well trained in technical skills and in character developing areas such as integrity, respect and leadership. If you are looking for a martial arts school for yourself or your kids, look no further-you will not be disappointed. They also do great summer camps, birthday parties and self defense classes.

Our son started the Duer's ATA through Willamalane in the Spring of 2010. He has grown to be more responsible and directed due to his training. He has also shown more control in his actions and his demeanor. We are very pleased with his training. My wife and I also joined in the Fall of 2010 we are both 40 and it was a challenge to start given our age and ability. We have been very happy with our training especially as it is based on our ability. We have both lost weight and have not felt better. We highly recommend training with Duer's ATA for the whole family.
